  • Things I would change in America if I could

    OPINION

Things I Never Thought Would Happen:

    • Drag queens performing in schools.
    • Men pretending to be young girls in videos and getting corporate sponsorships.
    • Teachers promoting the idea that boys can be girls and girls can be boys.
    • The military lowering entry standards to accommodate people identifying as a different sex than they were born with.
    • People recording videos of themselves talking in their car and posting them online for attention.
    • The idea that having an open border is a good thing in any country, especially in the USA.
    • The intentional push to remove petroleum-based fuel for autos, trucks, tractors, and boats in an attempt to impact “global warming.”
    • Our government pushing to eliminate gas-powered vehicles and make everyone drive an electric one.
    • The notion that people in some cities can now walk into stores and steal things on video without anyone stopping them.
    • A beer company putting a “pretend girl” on a can of beer and expecting a favorable marketing outcome!
    • Teaching our children that race (CRT) must be taught in schools without parental input.
    • Americans with good credit being forced to pay higher interest rates to support those with poor credit so they can buy a house.
    • Men participating in women’s sports as “equals” and, in many cases, winning.
    • Men now being allowed in women’s locker rooms and restrooms.
    • Cities putting feminine products in men’s bathrooms because “men can have periods.” How absurd is that?
    • Being told to trust NBC, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC about the Hunter Biden laptop, despite FBI findings that contradict previous information.
    • Being expected to trust our government’s election process, even though thousands of people were tracked using geolocation, making multiple mail drops of questionable ballots.
    • Having to believe that the entire Biden family had nothing to do with leveraging Vice Presidential influence for payments or favors.
    • Organizations, schools, and officials advocating for gender changes for children as young as 11, without parental permission.
    • The creation of “special” pronouns to describe males and females so others won’t be offended.
    • Providing “Gender Queer” books to children in public libraries.
    • The world bowing to anyone identifying with the LGBTQ+ community, disregarding the sex they were born with.
    • Allowing China to buy up hundreds of acres of land without questioning it.
    • Subsidizing Chinese companies to invest in America without considering the long-term impacts on the country.
    • Young people becoming so entangled with their devices that they can’t go a day without posting on social media for attention.
    • Companies afraid to “offend” employees by expecting a full week’s work, with some avoiding comments on unconventional hair colors or multiple piercings.
    • Allowing crowds of young people to vandalize cities with little or no penalties, sometimes even providing shelters in the areas they take over.
    • Our country’s failure to produce a yearly budget, relying instead on emergency funding without sticking to a consistent budget.
    • Labeling the far right as “domestic terrorists” while allowing the far left to riot in cities, burn police cars, and call it “freedom fighting.”
    • The government dictating the type of vehicle we must buy to appease environmentalists.
    • The impending shift toward a cashless society, where the government could control access to our funds—and 99% of people seem oblivious to this.
    • Electing officials who appear to dislike America as it is and seek to remake it into a socialist form of government.
    • Reducing our oil production, shifting from being an exporter to an importer again, all in the name of going green.
    • The government forcing us to wear masks for over a year, bringing the economy to its knees, only to later reveal masks didn’t protect anyone—it was about government control.
    • Funding labs in China to develop viruses we wouldn’t allow on U.S. soil, leading to millions of deaths worldwide without accountability.
    • Outsourcing American production to countries with lower labor costs, leaving us vulnerable when these unstable countries face conflict, disrupting our supply lines.
    • Idolizing Hollywood entertainers, only to realize they have their own flaws.
    • Paying professional athletes more than the soldiers who defend our country, or our police, EMS, and firefighters.
    • Many young people today lacking repair skills, relying on the internet for solutions or discarding items.
    • America seemingly losing its sense of value and hope for a brighter future. Until we return to basics, it’s hard to see things improving.
